Welcome to bloogum, the creative home of Annarti and hopefully a lot more active than the last one. The domain is here primarily to hold anything pertaining to the Yrae Chronicles and its feature story, Silent Harmony. The story has been my creative baby since the beginning of 2003, so it's only fitting that bloogum now centres around it and the world in which it lives.
18 December 2009 New pieces of fanart from Saku and Sallie added to the Fanart gallery.
2 December 2009 Added Riesling's reference sheet to the Cork's page.
28 November 2009 Added Chenin's reference sheet to the Cork's page.
22 September 2009 Added Chardonnay's reference sheet to the Cork's page.
3 September 2009 Added Merlot's reference sheet to the Cork's page.
29 August 2009 Added Cab Sav's reference sheet to the Cork's page.
21 August 2009 Redone the page on the Cork's crew, since it's pretty much been a placeholder since its creation two years ago. Now you can properly meet the muses =D
10 August 2009 New fanart finally added to that gallery. New story, Dragon Boy, added to the Yrae Chronicles. Also added [Snapshot Henchman] to the sidebar, though it's been there a little over a year now. And, obviously, new layout.
I am Annarti, a 24-year-old chickadee from Adelaide, South Australia. The first story I ever wrote was in a perfumed little notebook. It was about a horse that had chickens for friends. When I read or watch something that just gets me right there, my hands start hurting. So far, three written stories have done this, and one movie. My earliest memory is from when I was 2. I remember looking down on myself as Mum cradled me in my arms after I'd fallen off a ladder and cracked my skull. Je peux parler Français. Quand les gens ce trouve, la question première est toujours, 'Est-ce tu connais des mots grossier?' ... Merde. I've been to nine countries on my travels. One of them was Tasmania.
The current layout has been made from pictures taken on my recent holiday to Malaysia, the main one in the corner being of part of Lake Chini. That boat ride over the lake and up the river into the jungle turned out to be my favourite part of the holiday. It was GORGEOUS.
This can also be thought of as a bit of a breakaway from the Raykinian desert. Book one of Silent Harmony, set predominantly in Raykin and hence titled Rust, was finished early in March, 2009. Now I'm onto Tarnish, taking the cast into Kazin, where there's a lot more green and trees and, eventually, tropics.
